There may be times where you would like to change the password of your account. It is recommended to change your password at least once a month. It is also recommended to have the password be alphanumeric so it is difficult to guess.
Follow the below steps to change the password of your cPanel account:
Step 1. Login to your cPanel account and then select “Password & Security” under “Preferences” section.
Step 2.Next is you have to fill out the all information under “Change Password”:
- Old Password: Enter your old cPanel password.
- New Password: Enter password for your cPanel account or Generate a password using the “Password Generator” button.
- New Password (Again): Repeat the same password that you have filled in password field.
Step 3. Click on the “Change your password now!” button.
